At Crittenton Center, we believe in the power of consistency, compassion, and community. Today, we are honored to recognize and celebrate three extraordinary educators whose unwavering commitment has helped shape the lives of hundreds of children and families in Siouxland.
🌟 Mary Loftus – 22 Years at Stella West
For over two decades, Mary Loftus has brought joy, creativity, and warmth into the classroom as a preschool teacher at our Stella West location. Her calming presence and thoughtful teaching style have made a lasting impact not only on the children she works with but also on her fellow staff. Mary has consistently embodied our mission—helping children grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, supportive environment. Her dedication is a true inspiration.
🌟 Linda Teubner – 26 Years at Stella West
Linda Teubner’s legacy at Stella West goes far beyond her title as a classroom educator. With 26 years of service, Linda is known for her big heart and the simple yet powerful philosophy she shared with all of us: “We Take Care of Each Other.” These four words have become a guiding principle at Crittenton Center—a reminder that teamwork, empathy, and shared purpose are at the heart of everything we do. Linda’s nurturing approach and wisdom have helped shape our culture and community for the better.
🌟 Jen Walker – 26 Years at Stella East
Over at Stella East, Jen Walker has been a steady and beloved presence in our preschool classrooms for 26 years. Her passion for early childhood education is evident in every interaction—with students, families, and staff alike. Jen has a unique ability to turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning and connection. Her consistency and care have left a lasting legacy in the lives of countless children.
A Legacy of Love and Learning
Together, Mary, Linda, and Jen represent over 70 years of commitment to early childhood education at Crittenton Center. Their influence reaches far beyond the classroom—into homes, communities, and generations of Siouxland families.
"When we talk about foundation, strength, endurance, resilience, and determination, these three fit that definition. They truly care for the quality, early-learning experience of children in their care. These three have evolved as the needs of their children and families change. TRUE DEDICATION. It's an honor to be on their team."- Erika Fuentes, VP of Children and Family Services.
We thank them not only for their years of service but for the heart, soul, and leadership they bring every single day. You are truly the foundation of everything we do, and we are so proud to have you as part of our Crittenton Center family.
Thank you, Mary, Linda, and Jen. You’ve made a difference—and continue to make one every day.
