At Crittenton Center, we are dedicated to building a safer, healthier future for children and families in our community. This April, we're hosting a powerful weekend of events to bring awareness to two critical issues: youth homelessness and child abuse prevention.
Friday, 4/25/25, 7-9AM: Breakfast by the Bridge
Start the weekend with Breakfast by the Bridge, an even focused on raising awareness for youth homelessness in our community. We invite everyone to stop by, grab a free bagged breakfast, and learn more about the struggles that many young people face very day- often unseen. By coming together, we can make a difference in the lives of youth experiencing homelessness.
Location: Hard Rock Hotel- 111 3rd Street, Sioux City, IA 51101 (3rd Street Parking Lot in front of Parking Garage)
Saturday, 4/26/25, 12-2PM: Siouxland Digs Kids
The fun continues on Saturday with Siouxland Digs Kids, a FREE family-friendly event in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Kids will love digging for prizes, getting their faces painted, jumping on bounce houses and obstacle courses, and playing games. Food will also be available for purchase on-site!
Location: Riverside Park- 1301 Riverside Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51109 (Event will be located on the North End near the Volleyball Sand Courts and Pool)
