Meeting Families Where They Are

The Family Resource Center is designed to support each family uniquely based on their individualized needs. Each family is provided with a Family Support Professional and/or Lactation Counselor, depending on need. We offer short-term parenting classes, resources, and support to expecting parents and families with children ages birth to 17 years old. Families that complete a 6-week curriculum receive incentives such as car seats, diapers, formula, and other essentials. Families can self-refer or are referred to us by community partners.

Our Family Support Professionals are embedded in our child development programs. It is essential to have access to resources as families transition from jobs, housing, economic changes, or any other life-altering event(s). Often, it’s difficult for families in crisis to ask for help. With our Family Support Professionals seeing families and providing outreach on a daily basis, we intend to break barriers that restrict families from seeking help. Additionally, we can provide support during hardship, change, and the tolls it may take on your children. Building relationships is one of the most important foundations of what we do here. Meeting peoples’ needs and allowing them to be seen and heard are the beginnings of the problem-solving process. Our staff are flexible with schedules and are excellent at adapting service structures to meet each family’s needs. Families are their best advocates; let us help you fulfill that role.
