After months of hard work, dedication, and the generous support of our community and partners, we have reached an important milestone in our mission to provide safe, stable housing for youth aging out of the foster care system. OUR TINY HOMES ARE COMPLETE! At Crittenton Center, we believe empowering young people with the resources they need to build independent, successful lives. The Tiny Homes Project was designed with this goal in mind- to create a secure, nurturing environment where young adults can live as they transitional from foster care to adulthood. Each of the six homes offers not just a roof over their heads but a foundation for personal growth, stability, and self-sufficiency.  A Safe Space for Independence Each tiny home is fully equipped with the essentials, including a kitchen, bathroom (and a bathtub!), and living space, giving the residents the autonomy to manage their day-to-day lives. Beyond providing housing, the project is designed to offer critical support services, such as life skills training, employment assistance, and mentorship, ensuring that residents have the tools they need to thrive.  A Community Effort This project is a testament to the power of community collaboration. From the generous donors who contributed financially, to the volunteers and in-kind donors who gave their time and skills, every contribution has made a difference. We are deeply grateful for the partnerships that have made this project possible, and we know the impact will be felt for years to come. Looking Ahead With the Tiny Homes Project completed, we are excited to welcome the young adults who are moving into these new homes. But our work does not stop here. At Crittenton Center, we will continue to provide wraparound services and personalized support to help each resident develop a path toward independence.  We invite our community to continue in joining us celebrations of this achievement. Whether through future volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word, there are many ways to support the young adults who will benefit from this program. Together, we are building more than just houses- we are building futures.  Thank you to everyone who has supported this project. We look forward to seeing the positive ripple effects this will create in the lives of the young people we serve.  ![IMG_2955](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43565220/hubfs/IMG_2955.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=IMG_2955.jpg) **Exterior** ![IMG_2956](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43565220/hubfs/IMG_2956.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=IMG_2956.jpg) **Front view- Livingroom/Kitchen** ![IMG_2963](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43565220/hubfs/IMG_2963.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=IMG_2963.jpg) **Rear view- Livingroom/Dining** ![IMG_2961](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43565220/hubfs/IMG_2961.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=IMG_2961.jpg) **Bedroom/Study** ![IMG_2960](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/43565220/hubfs/IMG_2960.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=IMG_2960.jpg) **Bathroom** ![avatar](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/critt_CC_RGB.jpg) #### [Crittenton Center](https://crittentoncenter.org/news/author/crittenton-center) ## RELATED ARTICLES Button Title --- [![crit-logo-wht](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/crit-logo-wht.png)](https://crittentoncenter.org/) Sheltering, educating, and empowering children, individuals, and families.   600 4th Street Suite 100 Sioux City, IA 51101 [**Services**](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/services) - [Child & Family Development](https://crittentoncenter.org/services/child-family-development) - [Child Welfare & Well-being](https://crittentoncenter.org/services/child-welfare-wellbeing) [**About Us**](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/about-us) - [Our History](https://crittentoncenter.org/about-us/our-history) - [Board of Directors](https://crittentoncenter.org/about-us/board-of-directors) - [Our Staff](https://crittentoncenter.org/about-us/our-staff) - [Donate](https://crittentoncenter.org/about-us/donate) [**Events**](https://crittentoncenter.org/news/tag/events) - [Volunteer Opportunities](https://crittentoncenter.org/contact#volunteer-opportunities) - [Windmills & Wedges: Golf for OC Kids](https://crittentoncenter.org/news/windmills-wedges-golf-for-oc-kids) - [Calendar of Events](https://crittentoncenter.org/calendar-of-events) [**News**](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/news) [**Contact**](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/contact) [**Careers**](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/careers) [![COA_White_Logo_2019](https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/Global/COA_White_Logo_2019.png)](https://coanet.org/) [![phone-circle](https://crittentoncenter.org/hs-fs/hubfs/phone-circle.png?width=24&height=25&name=phone-circle.png)](tel:17122554321)    [![envelope-circle](https://crittentoncenter.org/hs-fs/hubfs/envelope-circle.png?width=24&height=25&name=envelope-circle.png)](mailto:info@crittentoncenter.org)    [![facebook](https://crittentoncenter.org/hs-fs/hubfs/facebook.png?width=25&height=25&name=facebook.png)](https://www.facebook.com/crittentoncenter)    [![linkedin-circle](https://crittentoncenter.org/hs-fs/hubfs/linkedin-circle.png?width=25&height=25&name=linkedin-circle.png)](https://www.linkedin.com/company/crittenton-center/)[tel:17122554321](tel:17122554321) © 2023 Crittenton Center | [Privacy Policy](https://43565220.hs-sites.com/privacy-policy-crittenton-center) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "Organization", "address" : { "@type" : "PostalAddress", "addressCountry" : "United States", "addressLocality" : "Sioux City", "addressRegion" : "Iowa", "postalCode" : "51106", "streetAddress" : "4212 Gordon Drive" }, "knowsLanguage" : "en", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/crit-logo-color.png" }, "name" : "Crittenton Center", "url" : "https://crittentoncenter.org/news/welcome-home" } ``` ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "abstract" : "Tiny Homes are completed and tenants are moving in", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Crittenton Center" }, "dateModified" : "October 14, 2024 4 PM", "datePublished" : "October 14, 2024 4 PM", "headline" : "Welcome Home...", "image" : "https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/Untitled%20%28300%20x%20175%20px%29.png", "inLanguage" : "en", "keywords" : "[News]", "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@type" : "WebPage" }, "name" : "Welcome Home...", "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://43565220.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/43565220/crit-logo-color.png" }, "name" : "Crittenton Center" }, "text" : "After months of hard work, dedication, and the generous support of our community and partners, we have reached an important milestone in our mission to provide safe, stable housing for youth aging out of the foster care system.
