This marks our second Regional Partnership Grant, following our previous award through RPG7, and gives us an opportunity to build on that work and expand support for children and families across Siouxland. Through our new Families Anchor Meaningful Solutions (FAMS HUB) project, we’ll work to make services more accessible, strengthen connections between community providers, and help families get support before challenges become crises. ## What will this mean for families? FAMS HUB will focus on families with children from birth through age 18 who are involved in or at risk of involvement in the child welfare system, particularly families impacted by parental substance use. Services will include family support, parenting education, behavioral health and substance use interventions, and connections to community resources. The goal is to help families find the support that fits their needs, build stability, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes for children. We know that finding the right service or figuring out where to start can feel overwhelming. By strengthening partnerships and creating better connections between providers, we want to make it easier for families to access support and navigate available resources. ## Get ready to see us out in the community! A big part of this project will be connecting directly with the people and organizations that make up Siouxland. Expect to see more outreach from Crittenton Center as we work to raise awareness, build relationships, and connect families with services. That means working alongside community partners, reaching families where they are, and helping people understand what resources are available and how to access them. We want to strengthen the connections that help families get support when they need it, not just when they’ve reached a crisis point. Over the five-year project, Crittenton Center aims to serve 300 families. Just as importantly, we’ll work to build a stronger network of support across the region so families have clearer pathways to the services they need. ## Building on our work together We’re grateful to the Children’s Bureau for this investment and to our partners at Iowa Health and Human Services and Sky Ranch Behavioral Services for working alongside us on this initiative. Strong families and communities take all of us. Through FAMS HUB, we’re looking forward to building new connections, strengthening existing partnerships, and helping more Siouxland families access meaningful support. Stay tuned.
