Iowa State Representative visits Crittenton Center’s Preschool & Childcare Center

Sioux City, IA: Iowa State Representative Jacob Bossman stopped by Crittenton Center’s newest childcare location at 6100 Morningside Avenue for storytime on Friday morning. Representative Bossman read two stories to the kids outside. Following a sweet treat, Kelly Osburn, Site Manager of Preschool & Childcare Center, gave the State Representative a tour of the facility.

“Childcare has been an issue that I’ve been passionate about. We have had two issues with childcare in the state: access and affordability. This is a great addition to the Morningside area because it addresses both,” said State Representative Jacob Bossman.

State Representative Jacob Bossman has to young daughters with his wife, Carmen. This is his second term serving in the House of Representatives and is currently on the Education Committee.

This location at 6100 Morningside Avenue opened the first of March. Stella Sanford Child Development programs provide hands on learning and research-based curriculum, daily lessons plan tailored to the needs of each child, and kindergarten readiness and developmental screenings.

In addition, our child development team is experienced and dedicated to helping children thrive.

Sanford Center will provide before and after school care in the same location with transportation to Morningside area schools, providing a one stop drop-off for parents with younger and school age children.
