Crittenton Center recipient of Missouri River Historical Development Gift

Sioux City, IA:  Crittenton Center received a $40,000 grant from Missouri River Historical Development (MRHD) to enhance the work Crittenton Center does in serving children, teens, and families.

Grant funds will be used for equipment, materials and other items at the Green Avenue location and the newly opened Preschool & Childcare Center location on Morningside Avenue.

“On behalf of Crittenton Center we are so grateful to MRHD, this grant will allow us to enhance two of our locations to better serve children and teens, creating a safer and more welcoming space to those we serve, our staff and visitors,” said Erika Fuentes, Child Development Program Director at Crittenton Center.

Missouri River Historical Development (MRHD) is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting Sioux City and Woodbury County through community grants. MRHD has distributed almost $21 million to Woodbury County non-profits and governmental bodies through annual grants, holiday gifts and special projects distributions.
