Crittenton Center announces new Executive Director

Bringing over 20 Years of Leadership Experience to Crittenton Center

Sioux City, IA: Crittenton Center’s Board of Directors announce the hiring of new Executive Director to lead the non-profit agency. Kim Scorza has accepted the position of Executive Director of Crittenton Center, which serves children, teens, and families in Siouxland. Scorza will take over as Executive Director of the 126-year old agency in September of 2021. 

From Orange City, Iowa, Scorza has been directly involved in the social work field for over 20 years, working as the President and CEO of Seasons Center for Behavioral Health in Spencer, Iowa since 2010. From concept to creation, Scorza led the opening of a $3 Million regional behavioral health children’s clinic known as Autumn’s Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. Scorza is also a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Iowa.

“We are extremely pleased to have Kim Scorza taking on the role of Crittenton’s Executive Director,” says Terrie Rasheed, Board President of Crittenton Center. “With her leadership and program development experience, we are excited for the future of the organization,” Rasheed exclaims.

Kim Scorza succeeds Leslie Heying (Hine) who previously served as Executive Director.
